    BooksForABuck.com Newsletter--January, 2008

It's a new year. Did you make your New Years resolutions? One resolution I always make is that I'll make reading a priority, even though there's always a lot else going on. I've cut back on my TV-watching. I find that reading is a lot more efficient both in terms of information per minute and in terms of entertainment value. Whether you read eBooks from BooksForABuck.com or books from any other publisher, I hope you'll consider joining me in this resolution.

Most of our books are now available for the new Amazon Kindle. Learn more about this cool eBook Reader here. I didn't get one for Christmas but it isn't too late.

2007 was a big year for BooksForABuck.com--especially in the mystery area. In 2008, we'll continue to expand our mystery line (already on schedule--new books by Amy Eastlake and Anthony Perham). We'll also accelerate our romance and science fiction/fantasy lines. So, check back often. Remember, for the first month after a book's publication, it'll be available exclusively from BooksForABuck.com--and exclusively for $1.

    New Books

    New in Paperback

Look for new paperback publications in late January or early February. We'll be producing:

    • DEADLY TRADE by Michael Paulson and
    • A FULL ENGLISH PROBLEM by Anthony Perham

    Our Contest

    This Month's Contest
Check every month for the lastest contest--and a chance to win a free eBook of your choice from our publishing list. Answer the question, send the answer to us by e-mail, and we'll randomly pick the winner from the list of correct answers.

Last month's question was "What type of business does Rick Engle run in Robyn Anders's The Truth About Cats?" For the second month in a row, the winner was Vicki Hale who knew that Rick ran a dot-com tattoo business. Congratulations, Vicki. (This has to be the world's easiest contest--I don't get many entries so your chances of winning are fantastic).

This month's question. In VEIL OF THE GODDESS by Rob Preece, Ivy Newland and Zack Herrera find something surprising under a bombed mosque in Iraq. What is it? (If you need a hint, check here.) If you think you know the answer, send it to me at publisher "@" booksforabuck.com (removing the quotes and spaces).
