    Answers

    1. Do I really have to pay? Yes, you really do. The author continues to hold the copyright. If you read and enjoy the work, but don't send in your buck, you're robbing the author, cheating the BooksForABuck.com site, and ensuring that neither you, nor anyone else will have access to these great books.

    2. Wouldn't anything good be published in traditional print format? Print publications are consolidating and driven by fads. As a result, great authors whose books are "out of style," authors whose books don't fit the page lengths of the established lines, and authors who can write more books than their publisher can publish, or are interested in stepping outside of the naroow lines are all available in shareware.
